Lucky me. I get to go under the first of many endoscopes (http://tinyurl.com/y6sg85qo) this morning to preform a widening of my esophagus. Seems radiation treatments have shrunk the esophageal channel and swallowing food has become an ordeal. Since the flesh in my esophagus was irradiated during my cancer treatments, it doesn’t have the elasticity of regular tissue. My Endo doc will have to do this a few times, a little at a time; in order to widen it sufficiently without ripping the esophagus. It’s not painful at all, and provides a pleasant little nap.

That means they have to go in a number of times in order to stretch it out enough to then implant a steel mesh channel that will keep it open and facilitate a larger area for my to swallow food. Cream of Wheat gets old after a while, ya know. Hopefully there will be a 22oz medium rare porter house in my hear future.

Hey everyone, I’m an old guy (28,076 days today) but #newhere. I’m interested in #atheism, #computer-hardware, #computer-security, #encryption, #progressive, and #science.

Just picked those out of a hat. Subject to change.

About Science, from somewhere on the Internet: "Science is the process of crash testing ideas: a scientist does not coddle an idea, or design tests to make it work. The scientist rams the idea into a brick wall head-on at 60mph, and knowledge is gained by examining the pieces. If the theory is solid, the pieces are from the wall."

I never got the hang of Google Plus. Bailed out of FaceCrook recently. Haven't logged in in about 3 weeks.

Does anyone know why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the battery is dead?

Thanks for listening.
