I picked up one of these a few days ago and am quite impressed (other than Amazon is collecting data on me pttttt!)

It replaces my bedside clock-radio and white noise machine and much more....I'm still figuring out what all it will do and learning how to do it....plays radio, sounds, news, can be used as a 'intercom' of sorts (between Alexa devices) and can listen in (view with other Echo devices like the Echo show kindof a security camera and with the Echo Apps for pc's. I'm quite impressed and highly recommend this li'l dotty thing.

P.S. I've had a FireTV Cube with Alexa for years but have never really used it for much except checking the weather now and then. With this I'm actually incoprorating it into my life (i.e. I'm being assimilated!) ... noise machine for sleeping, radio, news, podcasts, etc.
