Here’s a sad statistic for you: In the United States, we have a whopping 1.4 million people employed with the job of DENYING HEALTH CARE, vs only 1 million doctors in the entire country! That’s all you need to know about America. We pay more people to deny care than to give it. 1 million doctors to give care, 1.4 million brutes in cubicles doing their best to stop doctors from giving that care. If the purpose of “health care” is to keep people alive, then what is the purpose of DENYING PEOPLE HEALTH CARE? Other than to kill them? I definitely condemn that kind of murder. And in fact, I already did. In 2007, I made a film – SICKO – about America’s bloodthirsty, profit-driven and murderous health insurance system. It was nominated for an Oscar. It’s the second-largest grossing film of my career (after Fahrenheit 9/11). And over the past 15 years, millions upon millions of people have watched it including, apparently, Luigi Mangione. (...)

So, another HUGE waste of $$$ that could have been used for more important things than visiting a dead rock. I'm all for science and exploration and all that, but it pisses me off to see the $$$ wasted on it and military spending when there are citizens of this country who sleep in doorways at night in the freezing cold and have nothing to eat or any medical/psychiatric assistance to improve their lives.

While this occurs in this country, the U.S. has NOTHING to be proud of regarding its successful missions and science advancements. This country should BE ASHAMED... EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU that citizens are suffering as they are in the streets of the cities and towns of this country. Wherever even just one is suffering and the rest walking by and ignoring that suffering, the species is diminished further.

What we see here is known as FUCKED UP PRIORITIES, folks! Until this species begins to understand that peoples' lives and well-being are MORE important than exploration and/or exploitation #For_Profit, then there will be no improvements/advancements for this species... only suffering and DOOM.

Well, you really didn't think the news was pure, simple, and unbiased, anyway... did you? #For_Profit News is ALWAYS about one thing... protecting that bottom line. The powerful Israeli lobby in the U.S. and large sympathetic population of U.S. Jewish folks could make the bottom line for CNN (or any other media outlet) suffer greatly. These companies will not risk their profit potential by pissing off the powerful.

And what I'm saying above is NOT anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic. It applies to ALL POWERFUL entities when it comes to unbiased, pure, truthful news coverage by #For_Profit companies. They are ALL manipulated by the advantages/disadvantages regarding maintaining their profits in a positive fashion.

There is no honesty, integrity, or nobility in #For_Profit anything in the U.S. these days. #Greed_Capitalism has wiped out all chances of that in our current times.

It's about the fact, and you can take this from someone who's been there and done this, that for folks with limited means, which happens to be a HELLUVA LOT OF US these days, the price is right. Poor folks can buy shitloads of this salty shit and gobble in down at every meal, thus making them feel as though they aren't actually starving.

So, let's quit the bullshit about whether or not it's healthy or not. The fact is it's HOT and filling and none of you #For_Profit motherfuckers could care less whether any one is buying it and eating it because they have no other choices.

Earthbound exploration was plagued with colonialism, exploitation and extraction. Can we hope to make space any different?

Short answer to the above question... NO. H. sapiens have not even reached the point in their evolution where they can create and maintain a single world entity to guide and govern the daily lives of the 8 billion souls on this rock.

Until that happens, and H. sapiens learns to be a fully cooperative species rather than "us and them" groups of contending and competing animals, then their foray into the space travel and exploration will certainly follow the same trails that the Spanish Conquistadors and Vikings blazed hundreds of years ago.

It will be a free-for-all, kill anything that moves, #For_Profit enterprise across the galaxy. Hopefully, the intelligent beings in this galaxy and beyond will continue to avoid H. sapiens. It'll be best for them that way.
