Imagine a day divided into 10 hours,
each with 100 minutes,
and every minute made up of 100 seconds.

This was the innovative approach of the French Republican Calendar during the French Revolution. Simplifying calculations and aligning with our decimal number system, it brought a unique twist to how we perceive time. Though not in wide use today, its simplicity and logical structure continue to intrigue.
