#Dhanishtha #Nakshatra spans 23º20′ Capricorn – 6º40′ Aquarius. Dhanishtha Nakshatra’s deities are the #Eight #Vasu #Devas, the beneficial influences of nature. The Eight Vasus are Sun, Moon, Water, Fire, Earth, Stars, Sky and Space (Cosmos).

In this Nakshatra we can find great potential for abundance and prosperity, fortune through travel and being away from home.

Dhanishtha is symbolized by the Mridanga or Tabla – the drum. It gives the wish and ability to dance to ones own rhythm and succeed through ones own effort.

Dhanishtha is one of the Nakshatras that offer the solution or remedy in its symbolism.

To work with this Nakshatra you may chose

A regular practice of #mantra meditation, working with Sacred Sound
Playing the #drum (can also be a flute and by extension singing bowl, #hollow instruments that make sound)
Join a drumming circle that creates a sense of community
A practice of meditation that grounds in solitude practices
Connecting to nature – spending time outdoors, start-gazing

The combination of Dhanishtha’s planetary rulership, #Mars, and its position in two Saturn ruled signs, Capricorn and Aquarius, will give the courage to face trials and the patience to overcome them.

This happens to be a good nakshatra for travel, going on adventures, purchasing vehicles or other form of transportation, going with the flow, starting new ventures, change of career or residence, setting theories into practice, or to start a pilgrimage.
