Farewell #cyanogenmod...

Well, well, well... what's up now ? In 1 or 2 weeks max our CM devices will be at risk. Anyone has something really good to propose ? #replicant is not supported by my device, #firefoxos is not my stuff, #jolla is closed for now, right ? #lineageos is the possibly the next big thing but when will it come ?
I own an xperia z whom 3g, phone and gps chips are broken: the perfect isolation !! Hence I use wifi only, through vpn, and offline f-droid apps, but it's badly useful for my everyday life.
Any suggestion from the community is welcome. #foss suggestions, of course.

before attempting to upgrade your device:

  • If you use 3rd party software, you should probably take some extra care before updating - check the "Upgrading your devices" section in the [release notes].

  • Take a backup of your data before attempting to download-and-upgrading your device.

  • Make sure to have the backup copied memory card - not much point of a backup otherwise ...

(Personally, I had the issue with the backup option dialogue stalling, so please read the Release note's "Known issues" section before updating!)

  • Then close all apps before you actually install the update! (May not be necessary - but better safe, than sorry.)

Finally after nearly 2 years I've cracked my Jolla's screen.... dropped it and bang. So sad. #Jolla Service replied within 2 hours only. Can be fixed either with a brand new screen or a good in shape - used one (much cheaper). Will have to send it to Finland though for repair. Hope it can be done quick then.... @Jolla is still my favourite phone and I need it fixed :)

Just received my #tohkbd

Now I need to play around with it. Still only QWERTY-Layout, but should be solved soon with next Sailfish Version.
Now I am left waiting for the Tablet... hey #@Jolla, what's the progress there?
