Spent much of the weekend trying to get my system to work correctly. I decided to add a second GPU as a display card, and the process of getting it up and running was a wild one. I now now a lot more about the X Window System, and have taken a step in to using a window manager instead of a Desktop Environment, since the latter would not play nice with my set up.

I don't do fanart too often, but I had a sudden urge to draw this character. I wanted to do a polished, colored work without the perfectionist agonizing I tend to have about line, so I kept the messy, sketchy lines and colored the rest. I like how it came out.

I don't practice drawing, so I don't expect to be able to draw well, but I do sometimes enjoy drawing, regardless of skill. One application I use when attempting to get some imagery out onto a canvas is MyPaint, a digital paint application...
