One last look back. Quickly set a landmark
We are leaving inktober behind us and I would like to thank everyone who took part and everyone, who left likes and comments or shared the pictures.
It was fun again, but doodling a picture every day for a month and finding ideas for the given terms, is always quite a challenge.
But a year goes by quickly and so #Inktober25 will surely come sooner than we think ;-)

My pal on dA introduced me to sugar skull (calavera) through her drawing of La Catrina. Sugar skulls are part of Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) celebration. I visited a few sites and I think this whole celebration is a nice concept.

I think Thomas would totally be into this Day if he was on our planet, haha. In fact, it might help him learn to view the passing of his beloved in a fresh perspective. Besides, he loves skulls and death stuff(?).

So, this drawing is just because I wanna draw Thomas and sugar skulls. Sorry guys, no face paint. I'm not good at decorative patterns and I don't wanna butcher this tradition. As it is, I don't think I even decorated the skulls well. x'D

Oh yeah, Whispersio gets a clay skull because Whispy does not eat anything but darkness and we don't want that white fabric to be stained with colourings, do we... Also, although it's day time, Mef's home is a beach town inside a cave, so it has no sunlight. Illuminated by fireworks. Whispy likes it.

✨ :: 47-45 [RO] Mef's Mask Party ::

Mef is having a mask party at his house in the beach town!
Be sure to wear a mask or he will paint your face so ghastly even monsters will flee! xD

My characters: Thomas, Mef, and Kei.
Above them are Whispersio (Thomas' pet) and Li'l Row (Mef's pet).

This was also a doodle (one of many) that I decided to do up a bit. Some masks you've seen in my comic, and some you haven't. Mef's pose is totally taken from my comic's Epilogue, lol. And I accidentally made Thomas a tiny bit too tall. He's supposed to be shorter than Kei. I only realised this after completing the drawing. Oh well. :') And that is my attempt at 'scribbly fun' handwriting style.

I've been pretty sloppy this year - and not really that happy with my doodles. I would have preferred to throw this one straight in the garbage can ;-)

Elle regrettait déjà son voyage. Ce passé avait l’air tout aussi barbare que le présent d’où elle arrivait.
A croire qu’à toutes les époques, l’occupation préférée de bon nombre de ces mortels, durant leurs courtes vies, était d’écourter brutalement celles de leurs semblables. De plus, pas moyen de mettre la main sur le propriétaire de l’épée : Il était toujours parti quelque part, un jour là, un autre ailleurs, à faire des rois ou à prendre soin de quelque princesse en détresse (Ce qui parfois revenait au même).
Elle croisa certes sa cousine la Banshee, qui fut fort surprise de la voir ici-bas. Malheureusement, celle-ci était trop affairée : pas moyen de taper la causette ensemble, de refaire les Mondes, autour d’une bouteille de nectar ou de rosée du matin.
Oui, il était temps de partir. Par dégoût des humains, non par peur. Une fée n’a pas à craindre grand-chose; si ce n’est qu’on ne croit plus en elle.
