We'd like to take this opportunity to remind all #podmins that running queries directly on diaspora*s database for any reason is a bad idea and will most likely to harm to your system. Unless a member of our project team (recognizable by the role title on Discourse, as well as the little diaspora* asterisk placed on top of the profile pictures on Discourse) tells you to run a specific query for maintenance purposes, do not do it.

If you want to remove spam from your pod, download this script, fill in the correct details, and run it with bin/bundle exec ruby diaspora_spam.rb inside your diaspora folder.
