10am and on. The shadow of a pen scratching across brightly lit paper. Pinning down timelines, desired dates, actual efforts, likely sidelines and challenges. The act of taking this kind of notes, a mechanized process to get things structured and keep one from already thinking too much about what lives between these points in time. (At some stage the draft will go to the bin, but hopefully by then, some ideas will have managed to consolidate. Process as usual.)
