YirmYâ ́huw (Jeremiah) 40

  1. And the Word of Yâ-hwéh was towards YirmYâ ́huw a second time when he continued being confined in the courtyard of the prison, saying: 2. "Thus says Yâ-hwéh, the One Who makes the Land and forms it to establish it, Yâ-hwéh is His name: 3. "Call to Me and I shall answer you and I shall declare to you great things and inaccessible secrets, you do not know them; 4. Because thus says Yâ-hwéh concerning the houses of this city and concerning the houses of the royals of Yâhuwthâ ́h, the ones being demolished for ramparts and for fortifications, 5. to fight the invaders, the Kasdíym, and for filling them with the corpses of the men that I strike in My anger and in My fury, and that concerning all of their wickedness, I conceal My Face from this city!

Yâhuwshúa` comes and shall restore

  1. Look, I am to cause to ascend upon her restoration to soundness and mending, and I will manifest Myself to them and I shall cure them, and make (the abundance of) both peace and truth; 7. And I shall bring back the captivity of Yâhuwthâ ́h and the captivity of Yisrâ’ë ́l (115) and I shall build them like in the beginning, 8. And I shall cleanse them from all of their iniquity by which they had committed error against Me, and I shall not remember their errors which they had erred against Me, and by which they revolted against Me; 9. And it shall be for Me for a name, a joy, a praise, a decoration of honor to all of the heathen masses of the earth by which they hear of all of the goodness that I am the One working for them, and they shall be in dread and they will tremble concerning all of the goodness and concerning all of the peace that I am the One bringing about for her." 10. Thus says Yâ-hwéh: "Again there shall be heard in this place, that you are the ones saying, "It is a waste desolate from there being no man or from there being no beast, in the cities of Yâhuwthâ ́h and in the streets of Yruwshâláim which are being deserted from there being no man and from there being no inhabitant and from there being no beast," 11. The sound of rejoicing and the sound of gladness and the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of ones saying, "Profess Yâ-hwéh the Upholder of all because Yâ-hwéh is good, because His kindness is forever!", and they shall bring open and joyful acknowledgment (116) to the house of Yâ-hwéh [Songs 100], because I shall return the captivity of the Land as during the beginning," says Yâ-hwéh. 12. Thus says Yâ-hwéh the Upholder of all, "Again, in this place desolate from there being no man or even animal in all of its towns, there shall be a pasture of pastors causing their flocks to lie down, 13. In the cities of the mountain and in the cities of the valley and in the cities of the south and in the land of Binyâmín and in the surroundings of Yruwshâláim and in the cities of Yâhuwthâ ́h, again shall the flocks pass under the hands of the one counting," says Yâ-hwéh.

(115) Note that the inclusion of the release of the captivity of Yisrâ’ë ́l makes this be an end-time prediction.
(116) "open and joyful acknowledgment" is Strong's 8426, the profession of His name.
