Iran's president Raisi calls on Japan to act independently from US by releasing Tehran's frozen assets

This comes a day after he told his audience in Iran that the country doesn't have any frozen assets in any country other than US.

I guess his public in Iran do not read the English news that the local papers usually "chose" to ignore.
