NYT reports that Biden administration have come to an agreement with Iranian government to exchange 5 American (dual) citizens in Iran's prison with $6B of Irab's frozen assets.

The money will be transferred to a bank in #Qatar and will be under supervision of their government to make sure it can only be used for purchase of food, medicine and medical equipment.

This is the 3rd such prison exchange between #Biddn administration and #Reisi's government.

There was an attack against the home of some of the senior members of Iranian People's Mujahedin, MKO of cult of Rajavi in Paris last week.

I didn't read much on French or international news, but the attack has the clear footprints of IRGC #Quds force, the main target was a senior member of MKO Masoud Keshmiri who was named as the personal behind the bombing in Tehran back in the summer of 1981 that killed the President Rajaii and Prime Minister #Bahonar.

The attack was always a source of questionable circumstances and many people believed that it was the work of #Rafsanjani and and #Khamenei together with Ali #Rezai the head of IRGC back then who were involved in the #McFarlane trip to #Iran before the US election of 1980 that resulted in a deal between #US government (actually #Republicans and #Reagan) and IRI regime to delay the release of the hostages who were planned to be released in early fall of 1980 in exchange for badly needed spare parts for Iranian #F-14 #TomCat fighter jets and the code to unlock the air to air missiles #Phoenix that #Shah of Iran had purchased before the àrevolution and IRI could not use them because of inability to break the code.

Rejaii was one of the deeply religious hardcore revolutionary who was badly tortured before the revolution in #Evin àprison and a man of principals who was 100% against the deal specially after he found out that most of the parts and àweapons delivered to Iran were actually came from an unmarked ship fromFrenxh port of #Marseille but it made a stop in Israeli port of #Haifa to load the weapons.

2 days before his death, #Rejaii made a famous speech that condemned those "naive individuals in the country who believed they could purchase weapons from an arh enemy of the nation in order to fight the little insignificant devil #Saddam that Iran could easily deal with".

The deal hlgave Reagan the landslide wicrory over #Carter who Khomeini hated more than anyone because he brokered a peace deal between #Israel and #Egypt and he, in his typical short sighted stupidity believed Reagan would be a friend of Iran in it's fight against the " pro #Soviet #Saddam".

Iranian sources say that Macron demanded that Iran stops sending unmanned planes to Russia or face consequences.

He also demanded that Iran immediately stops working on new enrichment sites and open up fully with #IAEA and the #UN.

Iran's president responded that Iran has never sent anything to Russia since start of the war and it has all the rights to enrich uranium up to 60% and the country has no obligation to stay on the JCPOA since Trump unilaterally cancelled the multi national agreement.

During the meeting, the 2 agreed to increase economical and intelligence cooperation between the w nations "who share similar interests".

Iranian female students in middle and primary school are being poisoned by unknown group.

The news starting coming out a few months ago, it was in the city of Qum. Where students fel sick after they smelled something sweet and started having headache and stomach problem followed by breathing problem and vomiting.

As the number of cases increased, some people started to blame the hard-line government for spreading fear among families of girls to prevent them from going to school.

As days passed the reports of similar problems started to come up from different cities all around Iran.

It always the same, young female students being the target.

It has caused a major uproar among people and parents of school children who fear for their lives and blaming the Reisi government for not taking it seriously as the number of cases is increasing daily.

Many clerics from all refractions of the government have made statement and condemning these attacks and trying to explain that unlike the Taliban regime, education of female students is a guaranteed and promoted by them and these attacks are the work of "anti revolutionary" and "anti Islam" foreign agends.

In the mean time, the panic is spreading and many parents have decided to keep their children home and asking for "remote education" for their children.

Sources in Iran say that the high court of #IRI judiciary has approved the death penalty for 2 more people in the group accused of participation in the stabbing of #Basij member in late September 2021.

A key figure in the Iranian regime, who helped to launch a crackdown on women’s clothing that has led to widespread protests and dozens of deaths, is also the director of a British company providing immigration advice.

Saied Reza Ameli is secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, which drew up the tougher guidance on the compulsory wearing of the hijab. He is also director of the London-based Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC), which is approved by the UK government to provide legal advice. Ameli has called for all British school and work uniforms to include a hijab option.

Ameli, 60, said after the Supreme Council published the guidelines on “chastity and hijab” in 2019 that they were needed for “social health, protection of the family”. He claimed foreign television shows were designed to “weaken chastity and hijab”.

Ameli was a founder of the IHRC in 1997. He obtained a doctorate in the sociology of communication at Royal Holloway University of London in 2001. His registration with Companies House says he lives in England. In 2006 he was co-author of a book about the hijab and British women, based on research by the IHRC. Its recommendations to the government included a national policy incorporating the hijab into work and school uniforms and having “women-only spaces in public places”.

The United Nations has decried the death in custody of Mahsa Amini after she was arrested by Iran's "morality police" and the violent crackdown on the protests over her death.

5he situation is is going from bad to worse.

Reisi who pushed for his Taliban style breakdown on "immoral" behavior after his election, let loose the mad dogs of moral patrol or sharia police all over the country.

His goal was to break the spirit of women who were using the little freedom they had received under previous "moderate" president to show that IRI is based on 7th century mindset in regards to women's rights.

But unlike their progress in the 80s and 90s, women are no longer willing to give in and accept to be treated like subjects and fighting back.
