YirmYâ ́huw (Jeremiah) 50

Yâhuwthím disbelieve and take everyone to Mitsráyim

1. And it happened as YirmYâ ́huw finished dictating to (all of) the people all of the words of Yâ-hwéh that Yâ-hwéh their Power sent him to them all of these words; 2. Then AzarYâ ́hu the son of Howsha'Yâ ́hu and Yâhuwchânâ ́n the son of Qârë ́ach and all of the mortal men spoke, saying to YirmYâ ́huw, "It is a lie you are speaking, Yâ-hwéh our Power has not sent you to say, "Ye must not enter Mitsráyim to sojourn there", 3. because Bârúwkh the son of NëriyYâ ́huw is instigating you against us in order to give us into the hand of the Kasdíym to kill us or to take us into exile to Bâvél!" 4. So Yâhuwchânâ ́n and all of the officials of the forces and all of the people did not heed the voice of Yâ-hwéh to stay in the land of Yâhuwthâ ́h. 5. And Yâhuwchânâ ́n and all of the officials of the forces took all of the remnant of Yâhuwthâ ́h which had returned to live in the land of Yâhuwthâ ́h, 6. the valiant men and the women and the toddlers and the daughters of the king [Ychezqë ́’l 17:22] and all of the lives (néphesh) that Nvuwzar’athâ ́n the chief of the guardsmen had deposited to GthalYâ ́huw the son of ’Achiyqâ ́m, even YirmYâ ́huw the preilluminator and Bârúwkh the son of NëriyYâ ́huw, 7. and they entered (the land of) Mitsráyim, because they did not heed the voice of Yâ-hwéh, and they entered as far as 'You shall fill hands with pity’ (Tchaphnchë ́ç). 8. And the Word of Yâ-hwéh was towards YirmYâ ́huw in 'You shall fill hands with pity’ (Tchaphnchë ́ç), saying: 9. "Take huge stones and have them laid hidden at the entrance of the house of Par'óh in 'You shall fill hands with pity’ (Tchaphnchë ́ç) in the sight of the mortal men of Yâhuwthâ ́h, 10. and you shall say to them, "Thus has Yâ-hwéh said: Look! I am sending and I will take Nvúwkhathne’tsTsár the king of Bâvél, My servant, and I will put his throne on top of these stones that I had laid hidden and he will stretch out his royal canopy above them; 11. And he will enter and he will strike the land of Mitsráyim, that which is for death with death and that which is for captivity with captivity and that which is for the sword with the sword. 12. And he will kindle a fire in the houses of the mighty ones of Mitsráyim and he shall burn them and he will take them captive and he will wrap himself with the land of Mitsráyim just like a shepherd wraps himself with his garment and he will depart from there intact; 13. And he will shatter the obelisks of the house of the luminary orb which are in the land of Mitsráyim and their houses shall he burn with fire."
