5) ’Ethówm(77) (spiritually, Roman Christianity)

1. "For ’Ethówm, thus says Yâ-hwéh: Doesn't there exist wisdom anymore in Tëymâ ́n? Counsel has vanished from the discerning, their wisdom has been dismissed, 2. the place has been beguiled; Go deep to dwell, inhabitant of Dthâ ́n because I shall bring the calamity of Ësâ ́w upon him, the time-period I make a reckoning on him. 3. If grape-gatherers were coming to you, wouldn't they leave behind gleanings? Were it thieves during the night, wouldn't they lay hands on (what they need)? 4. Because I am Who have stripped bare Ësâ ́w, I have revealed his hiding places so he shall not be able to hide himself; his seed shall be devastated, and his brothers, and his neighbors, and he will exist no more. 5. Abandon your parentless, I am Who shall preserve them alive, and let your widows trust in Me, 6. because thus says Yâ-hwéh: Look, they who had no right to drink the cup have surely have drunk it, so you shall surely not be cleared from all guilt because you shall surely drink it, 7. because by Myself I have sworn," declares Yâ-hwéh, "that you shall become for an astonishment, for a reproach, for a desolation, and for a curse in her midst, and all of her cities, they shall become for a perpetual waste."

The impostor is reckoned to be ’Ethówm's (Rome's) insolence

1. I have heard a report from Yâ-hwéh, and a messenger is being dispatched among the heathen masses: "Gather yourselves together and invade against her, and stand up for battle! 9. Because look, I have made you small among the heathen masses, despised among men! 10. Your game has cheated you, the insolence of your heart, it demolished refuge-holes in the rock, it seized the height of the high hill! When it elevates its nest like the eagle, from there I shall take you down!" [compare Chavaqqúwq 2:9] declares Yâ-hwéh, 11. "And ’Ethówm shall become for a wasteland, everyone crossing over her (shall be stunned and they) shall whistle at (all of her plagues), 12. like the destruction of Çthóm and Amorâ ́h and her inhabitants," says Yâ-hwéh the Upholder of all, "Not one shall dwell there, and no dirt-man shall sojourn in her. 13. Look! Just like a lion he shall ascend, who is 'I shall become (’e-hyéh) Yisrâ’ë ́l' of the midst, not the ones of the Descender (ha-Yardë ́n) in the place of My Yisrâ’ë ́l, the sons of the Eternal, because of which I, the Son, would instantly drive away from Yisrâ’ë ́l them, of her son of Yisrâ’ë ́l! Yet of Yisrâ’ë ́l, not of the One is the youth over Yisrâ’ë ́l outside, her son. Pay ye attention to the Door [~Yâhuwshúa (Yâhuwchânâ ́n's Glad Tidings 10:7)], because of this: Who is just as I am of Yisrâ’ë ́l? And who would oppose belonging to Me? And of Yisrâ’ë ́l, who is this one, O sheep, a pastor which will stand firmly against the Vessel of Yisrâ’ë ́l, My Face? [ZkharYâ ́hu 11:15]

The Last Tenth (Yshá'Yâhuw 34:5-17, 63)

1. Therefore, hear the plan of Yâ-hwéh that He has planned against ’Ethówm, and His device that He has devised against the inhabitants of Tëymâ ́n: they surely shall not drag away the least of the flock, they surely shall not destroy the pasture because of them, 15. At the sound of their fall, the earth shall tremble, the sound of her cry of distress shall be heard by the Sea of Reeds; 16. Look, like an eagle, He shall ascend, then He shall dive and He shall spread His wings over Bâtsrâ ́h, and the heart of the warriors of ’Ethówm during that day shall be like the heart of a woman in distress."

Who is ’Ethówm? Spiritually, the people who despised their Inheritance and traded it for a last meal. This may be the Romans, which Yâshâ ́r documents these intermingled with. Both of these have oppressed and fought against Yisrâ’ë ́l and looted us.
