Centuries ago, the Persian poet Hafez, described the hypocrisy of those who preach one thing in public, but act exactly the opposite when they are alone. Sadly, the hypocrites of world politics today don't care that their actions are public and keep lying on podiums and world stage about the importance of actions to end our fossil fuel dependency.

In the mean time, we are moving fast forward to a global catastrophe that will push almost half the world population into extreme poverty, food insecurity and environmental refugees.
