Even Freud, studious & serious, was a huge fan of games.
Nice set here! From his home/office at Berggasse 19, Wien (Vienna).

The earlier photos I posted, of his famous couch, were taken a few days earlier, in London, where Sigmund and Anna wound up after the Holocaust, thanks to Marie Bonaparte and other admirers and patrons. Only a few relics (original) returned to his home of many years, and now there is an art gallery too, featuring Lucien Freud, Dali, de Chirico , and others.
