Tuned in to i24News to see what they're doing by way of BS only to be surprised by their focus on Iran and Gulf states, and in passing a salient comment was made about Julian Assange, whom I do not consider to be a journalist. He has his supporters, but they support this particular problem he caused--

Bahrain is reported to be making overtures to Iran; it was pointed out that it is a Shiite country with a Sunni ruler, but it's more tribal than theologically oriented...also reported is that Hamas wants to move out of Qatar and into Iraq, and concern was raised over what additional connections Iran might acquire to ramp up its nuclear program, and the defunct JCPOA ("The Iran Deal") was discussed, and then what intelligence Iran was working with...and then Assange was mentioned in that context.

The comment, made in apparent despair, was: if the US isn't going to prosecute a person who handed Iran what it needed to know to proceed, it's not going to press Iran on anything else.
