1) My all-time favourite is: Cloud Atlas - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1371111

The movie is not for everyone because the story is told in a very confusing way and there are sometimes quick cuts and jumps in the story. My favourite plot line is the one where a fast food employee becomes a philosopher and later builds a whole religion on her monologue. The unifying element in the plot is about freedom. It is a genre mix of science fiction, fantasy and historical drama.

"Lord of the Flies" as a science fiction story.

3) Trash Movie: One Cut of the Dead - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7914416

The best zombie movie I have ever seen. It's about producing a live zombie movie for an event in one shoot without editing. A lot of things go wrong, but instead of cutting the actors and the director improvise to the point of absurdity...

3 #Movie #suggestions for the #Christmas season

So at least I'm getting a white Christmas this year. However, it's freezing cold outside and there's a lot of slush. That's why I thought we could give each other some movie ideas under the hashtag #3movies.

1) The first movie should be your all-time #favourite movie or a movie you have already seen several times and would watch again and again.
2) A current movie that has surprised or fascinated you recently for a specific reason.
3) Either the worst film you've ever seen or the trashiest. A trashy movie can also be fun and you can sometimes laugh about bad quality.
