"Happy Xmas" is Clapton’s 24th studio album and his first since 2016’s “I Still Do.” It mixes instantly recognizable holiday classics with lesser-known unique titles along with an original new song “For Love On Christmas Day.” The album also features cover art illustration by Clapton himself.

"I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals,” said Clapton, who co-produced "Happy Xmas" with longtime music producer Simon Climie. “I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.

Jedes Jahr zu Halloween wird Suzy Q Records ein Jahr älter. Dieses Jahr sind es 25 Jahre. Leider können wir nicht feiern,da die Welt ein Scheißhaufen ist und man das nicht noch gutheißen sollte. Erst kürzlich haben wir zusammen erneut ein echtes Untergrundmonster geschaffen, auf Vinyl. Checkt das aus. Sonst ist sie lang aus dem Haus. Verdient ihr Geld für Drogen und Waffen in der russischen Pornoindustrie. Ich bin sooo stolz!

There's a wealth of exhaustive reissues covering Duster Bennett's recordings from the 60's and 70's out there, but there has never been an attempt at a best of set that could act as an introduction to this unique artist... John Mayall and Peter Green certainly recognised and championed Duster, as did DJ John Peel, for whom Duster recorded many sessions... Duster was the real deal, I have many happy memories of seeing him perform with his girlfriend Stella Sutton... So if you like the blues download my Duster selection and prepare to be blown away, enjoy!
