#Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Culture condemned in the strongest terms the US blatant aerial aggression on the historic Citadel of al-Rahba, located on the bank of the #Euphrates River in al-Mayadeen city, Deir Ezzor.
“The aggression violates all international norms and conventions that require the protection and respect of cultural property in accordance with Article 4 of the 1954 Hague Convention,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The citadel dates back to the 9th century AD.
