So excited, I have several Fawa beans growing to full size on a soil sack!

At first I thought they were peanut plants, but I was corrected by someone on Mastodon that they looked like beans and I realized they were results of a silly test of just planting some beans I bought at a north African shop next to us

Now I have a lot of beans growing, many many more to come after I hand pollinated them.

Really excited. Had to spray with soapy water and Neem oil as I'm fighting all sorts of bugs this season but the 3rd round seems to be giving results and the bugs starting to die out.

Now I have to order some more nneem oil as mine are almost empty.

Afternoon snack is ready!

With some lemon juice and Catan pepper, it is a delicious, healthy snack instead of chips or other processed items to eat while doing something on the side.

One bag of 800g (used to be 1kg before Ukraine war) is enough for 3 or 4 cookings.
.Less than 1 euro 0er session not including electricity or spices.

But it's delicious and healthy.

My new snack that I replaced the chips and other unhealthy items with. Fawa beans, soak in water over night, slow cook for 1h and then have a lot of tasty snack.
