Basing one's lifestyle dependent on being serviced by others is parasitic. I thought I was doing alright being a shabbatsgoi until I thought about it further because it seemed to me that a God that found that acceptable, doing work by proxy, is a God that wants to be fooled. When work is done, the beneficiary as good as did the work by proxy. Pretty devious, IMHO.
