#FreeAhmadManasra is trending on multiple social media

I posted earlier that he is one of the prisoners to be released, but I was wrong. He is sitting in special detention due to risk for suicide.

He was caught by IDF when he was only 13 years old , this is what Amnesty wrote about his story:

Ahmad Manasra was arrested in 2015 in relation to the stabbing and injury of two Israelis, aged 20 and 13, in occupied East Jerusalem. Although Israeli courts found that Ahmad did not participate in the stabbings, he is serving a nine-and-a-half-year sentence for attempted murder.

Ahmad’s 15-year-old cousin, Hassan, was shot dead at the scene of the stabbings in 2015, and Ahmad sustained serious head injuries when he was hit by a car. As he lay bleeding on the ground, large crowds gathered to jeer and shout abuse at him. Footage of Ahmad Manasra’s interrogation showed three Israeli officers shouting threats and insults at him, as he sat sobbing with a bandage around his head.

Ahmad Manasra has endured several periods of prolonged solitary confinement, in violation of international law. On 24 October 2021, he was diagnosed by an independent Israeli clinical psychologist with serious psychiatric conditions, which the medical report said had developed since his detention.

He spent long parts of his now 8 years of imprisonment in solitary confinement or hospitals.

Khulood Badawi, Amnesty International’s Campaigner on Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, said:

“Ahmad Manasra was taken to the mental health unit at Ayalon prison, after spending the better part of two years in solitary confinement. The Israeli Prison Service, has requested an extension of Ahmad’s isolation for another six months, in brazen violation of international law. Prolonged solitary confinement lasting more than 15 days violates the absolute prohibition of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.

Pro Palestinians are sharing this to show how well the hostages were taken care of.

Even her dog is with her and was fed and taken care of.

Israel broke the arm of a Palestinian child hostage on the day he was about to be released.

I am no fan of #PIJ or #Hamas, or agree with them taking civilians hostage, but the lies of #IDF and pro Israeli folks making me sick.

Release the Palestinian hostages immediately, or don’t they matter?

At least 1000 Palestinian children under the age of 18, some of them not yet 13 from the occupied West Bank are prosecuted every year through Israeli military courts after being arrested, interrogated and detained by the Israeli army.

They’re seized in the dead of night, blindfolded and cuffed, abused and manipulated to confess to crimes they didn't commit.

The war in #Gaza not only going to destroy Hamas, but it has created a massive support across the Arab world to pick up the swords of fallen Hamas fighters.

No matter what the outcome of this war will be, the future groups are going to be far more violent and radical than the ones we see today. The same on Israeli side Ben-Gvir and kahanists will take more power among Israelis in the next election.

Unconfirmed Video shows the moment one of the Palestinian kidnapped children realest from captivity meeting his mother.

Israel is slowly releasing 150 out of over 5000 children and women they hold hostage in exchange for 50 hostages from Gaza.

There are absolutely 0 guarantees that these people are not kidnapped again by IDF that is capturing/kidnapping 100s of palestinians in occupied West Bank for absolutely no reason.
