Der Desktop.Client spielt AV1 ganz normal.
Browser (sowohl Chrome als auch Firefox) können das nicht:
Und der Jellyfin-Server muß transkodieren, was einige Last erzeugt (bei einem Stream geht es definitiv, bei zwei wahrscheinlich auch, darüber müßte man ausprobieren)
Aber der Desktop-Client (https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-media-player) scheint mir eine Electron-App zu sein?
Wenn ja, warum spielt er den Film direkt ab, die Browser aber nicht?

Das ist natürlich enttäuschend.- Weder Firefox noch Chrome können AV1, jedenfalls nicht in der Version, die ich vorwerfe. #jellyfin muß transkodieren, und das ist CPU-aufwendig.
