The Spirit of COSMIC! (December Updates)

The latest progress report from the devs at #system76 on how things are going in work on creating the upcoming #CosmicDE #Linux desktop. When done this will be the new desktop for #Pop_OS, but also available for any other distro to offer as well. It will include a new text editor, too, called the COSMIC Text Editor.

To date it all sounds pretty good, but there is still no forecast release date. I am still betting it will be ready for April and Pop!_OS 24.04 LTS.

Notes from October on how the development of the new COSMIC DE for #Pop_OS is progressing over at #System76. It seems that good progress is being made, but still no projected release date. Perhaps April 2024 to coincide with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS?
