Viel Nacht gehörte der Unruhe fremder Betten und Wände. Und dann schaffen es Klimaanlage und erwachende Straßen durch die Sinne und der Sonntag wird. Gähnen. Kaltes Wasser in Gesicht, Augen. Kleiderordnung herstellen. Und Frühstück, vorrangig Kaffee. Koordination gewünschter und möglicher Zeit. Genug Luft im Plan, immer. Gedanklich noch weit zurück. Wie so oft bei schneller Bewegung. Sehr viel später: Orientierung suchen, andere Räume, andere Fenster, dahinter andere verschlafene Welt. Himmelsrichtungen als abstraktes Konzept. Nahe Autobahn, Samstagnachtleben kleiner Städte, das andauernde skeptische Schweigen der Wohngebiete. Zur Ruhe kommen, irgendwo dazwischen, zumindest für den Moment. Closing in on 8pm. Kind of arrived, after all. The challenges of finding food in a city not that much built for travellers anymore. Worked out, eventually. Now, watching the water flow with the river, from the once-close summits to the still invisible sea. A scenery of confined silence in a somewhat loud world. And a hazy moon above the fields.

Eine lange Straße, gelb belaubte Bäume, dahinter die Gleise und der Park. Ein Drink am Springbrunnen. Unwissend, wie weit man sich auf Zwischenstationen einlassen will. Im Transit.)

Noon along the route. Mountains turn to hills bearing bridges, rusty pylons holding up wires, dense forests and random old villages. Passing through tunnels for miles, while day gradually gets warmer. Not quite there yet.
