MESSIAHS NEVER RETURN

Like any other Christian cult, QAnon announced again that its messiah would return--this time on March 4 and, of course, he didn't. Biden is still our President.

As a kid, I remember during the late sixties and early seventies, the Jehovah's Witnesses made complete asses of themselves predicting the return of Jesus time and time again. Of course, Jesus didn't show up as promised. It became a running joke whether or not they would come up with a new prediction of their messiah's return.

The Witnesses were so wrong so many times, they finally gave up. Not that they lost members who saw through the moneymaking scam, only that these true believers rationalized it into their beliefs.

The Mormons through the years have done a similar thing, predicting their messiah's return. Only the Mormons were smarter and quieter than the Witnesses by not publicizing the announcements in giveaway pamphlets.

This is not new to the Christian religion. Many Christians for centuries rationalized the no-show Jesus who was returning "soon." 2000+ years to any human being is not soon by any stretch of the imagination unless that imagination is impelled by faith.

The early Christian scam is exposed in the letters of Paul to the Thessalonians where he had to rationalize why he was wrong that Jesus had not returned as he promised those he "saved." These letters are a case study in human cult brainwashing, where people are led to "hold to their faith" in a false prophecy that obviously failed.

Yet this scam today is still held and rationalized by believers as "soon" to a god "whose ways are not our ways" and to whom "a day is a century" or whatever. So this god "telling" his followers that Jesus was returning "soon" means that Jesus was not returning soon by human standards. I'm not waiting around holding my breath on this idiocy, but many Christians today are.

Given this Christian propensity to digesting utter bullshit it is no surprise that QAnon is a hit among conservative Christians. Once you can get Christians to swallow idiotic nonsense like this, politics is an easy manipulation. Such dunces are easily scammed--as January 6 proved to our nation and the courts are proving to the arrested and convicted.

Thus the Catholic-based QAnon cult gains a following among evangelicals and even gets accepted and reinforced by the Falun Gong cult of China, which seems to me to be basically a movement where new-aged Buddhism and Taoism meets Christian racism and sexism and bigotry and prophecies. Hide the Buddhism in the guise of The Epoch Times and the Christians here love it.

The faith healing aspect of Falun Gong is just like Christian faith healing. Disgusting garbage that puts down medical research through conspiracy theories. The blowing away of Covid by Kenneth Copeland is just as ridiculous as the hot air blow given by Master Li on the dangers of vaccines.

So since Jesus hasn't shown up as planned, now we have the loser of the presidential election as messiah. I guess you have to try with a new person when the first is a no-show.

To the true believers, he was crucified in a stolen election, verbally flogged by the press for our offenses, and expelled from the White House to his Florida resort. He will return to judge the deep state and the cabal. The evil shall perish in a storm and his kingdom will have no end. Or so their would-be creed goes.

Well, now the new messiah is also a no-show. Excuses will be made to delay his return so that the true believers will remain believers, so that hope in the scam remains and religious idiots remain the pawns of the powerful.

Can't get more Christian than that.
