I'm planning an update to my Markdown Quick Reference

I'd like to fix a few of the omissions and a couple of mis-categorisations, such as the role of the description text in images.

Other features & behaviours:

• Character entities: (c) (r) (tm) (p) give (c) (r) (tm) (p).

• How to reference profiles. The difference between @Doc Edward Morbius, https://diaspora.glasswings.com/u/dredmorbius, https://diaspora.glasswings.com/people/aaf2303053e2013a00fd448a5b29e257, and {dredmorbius@diaspora.glasswings.com}, and when you'd use each.

• Short vs. full references to posts. https://diaspora.glasswings.com/posts/978058 vs. https://diaspora.glasswings.com/posts/bb9efd507ee8013a5b42448a5b29e257 NB: that last long number is a GUID, but I'm not sure what the short value (978058) is, or how it is derived. Any guidance on this is appreciated. There's no mention in the Diaspora* documentation that I can find.

• Host-specified vs. local-part references to posts. https://diaspora.glasswings.com/posts/bb9efd507ee8013a5b42448a5b29e257 vs /posts/bb9efd507ee8013a5b42448a5b29e257, and why it's necessary to enter that last as [/posts/bb9efd507ee8013a5b42448a5b29e257](/posts/bb9efd507ee8013a5b42448a5b29e257)

• The Diaspora Foundation website, with Documentation, Github Codebase, and Discussion.

• Interactions with non-Diaspora* sites / networks. These include Friendica, Hubzilla, and Socialhome, that I'm aware of.

Possibly, #jq tools for recovering source code of posts and comments.

Other suggestions / additions / changes / corrections welcomed.
