[Vice] Die neuen Gabber – Hardcore never dies
Un beau film documentaire hollandais sous-titré en allemand, qui parle de la scène techno hardcore aux Pays-Bas, en s’intéressant particulièrement aux personnes qui écoutent ce style de musique, en faisant leur connaissance, en nous présentant leur histoire personnelle, en expliquant la place que le hardcore a eu (par exemple, dans le fait de lutter contre un cancer ou un mal-être) ou a encore dans leur vie. (durée 47 minutes)
Glatzen, Trainingsanzüge, große Pupillen und 180 BPM, das war Gabber in den 90ern. Was als Undergroundbewegung begann, wurde aber bald vom Mainstream kooptiert und erstickte dann schließlich an seiner eigenen Beliebtheit. Aber ganz ließ sich Hardcore nie verdrängen – und ist heute wieder zurück.

Die niederländischen Raver Gabbahontaz, Earlyvenus und DJ Dissoactive bezeichnen sich alle als Gabber. Sie alle haben ihre eigene Sicht auf die Entwicklung der Hardcore-Szene von der Blütezeit in den Neunzigern bis heute.

Wir folgen diesen drei jungen Gabbern im Vorfeld des Hardcore-Festivals Ground Zero in den Niederlanden. Der Dokumentarfilm unserer Kollegen in Amsterdam zeichnet ein Bild der lebendigen Hardcore-Subkultur durch die persönlichen Geschichten dieser ‘neuen Gabber’.
