Prolonged Heat Wave Next Week⚠️
A prolonged heat wave is expected next week, with high temperatures regularly around 100-105 at Salt Lake City.
It got up to 103 °F today.
That’s it for me. I’m having my air conditioner installed on July 6. With everyone blasting their air conditioners, hopefully, the power stations won’t explode statewide.
It’s suppose to rain a little in a few minutes. Maybe it will be enough to cool things off. Even a light sprinkle would help. Due to Climate Change the summers are getting worse. Droughts, heat waves and forest fires. More people are becoming ill and others are going crazy because of the excessive heat. I think about finding a way to spend summers in Alaska. A Heat Wave Refugee.
9:03 PM: A little sprinkle of rain came and went. Every drop is quickly drying up.
