:: 46-047 [RO] Mef! ::

My RO fan-fic-only character, Mef (not in game). Just wanted to draw him comfy like my Idun.
On the left is him as a townie, based on an NPC I stumbled upon while playing as Thomas. On the right is him as a Shadow Chaser (rogue class). They wear this big feathery cloak, so I bet he can get all comfy in it, looking like an owl, haha.

Highest stat points: Strength & Vitality
Weapons: Daggers; bow (secondary/almost never)

Mef is a curious little guy with a streak of mischief. He's agile as most Shadow Chasers would be. He is honest in his face and actions —not a good thing, though... because SCs are supposed to be deceptive.

As a young man who has never left the beach town Comodo, Mef enjoys listening to tales of adventure. He lives near the bar, so he would always go there to listen to the adventurers talk. Unfortunately, not everyone has time to tell campfire tales, save one fellow. Although his tales were mundane, Mef (in all his childish demeanour) enjoyed every tale the man told him.

And so, Mef decided to be an adventurer to get his own adventuring tales. Mef's a little slow, having failed the job test three times (on separate occasions). Still, no regrets. Thanks to being an adventurer, he now knew of adventurer uniforms, and he could only think that the man who spared some time to tell him tales was a priest type. He can't remember the man, though... the priest had such an ordinary face. Perhaps one day they might meet again.

Ah yes, upon being a Shadow Chaser, the guild gave him some painting supplies. Mef sucks at art, but he's getting there.

My RO game character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta, back when his faith was wavering.
I think this might be the last of Thomas you will see for now. ^^

I kinda wish the religious job/class in RO were more... Norse than Christianity. That would make them so perfect. Anyway, I tried to find some relevant quotes from Norse religious texts (instead of Bible) since the people of Midgard mostly worship Odin (if not Freja); but ehhh the Norse didn't exactly have a written holy scripture of anything. The Poetic Edda is the one legend, and that quote has the vibe, so I took it.

:: 46-036 [RO] Resting Peacefully ::

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta and a Shadow Chaser, Mef. Had this idea since a couple of months back when my artist block hit me, and only recently could I draw it out.

Thomas has an obsession for two things: skulls and crosses. The former is liquidable asset, and the latter is for protection. He tells the members of the church that when he dies, please put him together with his pet ghost, Whispersio in a coffin (with Whispy being in his own little coffin inside the bigger one), and bury him with the big cross he hangs behind his room door. Skulls can be sold to cover the funeral costs.

"But first, let me test my coffin out," he tells the church. They let him and went about their ways. Thomas goes into the coffin, bringing his huge cross from his room door, and lies down inside. "Ah, feels just like my bed in the storage room," he mutters to himself. It was comfortable enough that he fell asleep.

A figure stealthily approaches, emerging from the shadows upon having caught up with his target. He squats by the coffin, his weapon unsheathed. 'To die in your sleep ought to be merciful enough,' he thinks to himself as he looks at the sleeping Archbishop. He is supposed to have been done with the disposal of his target, but instead finds himself enjoying the serene look on Thomas' face.

(Other notes: I could not fit in things like skull, Holy Water, and Whispy in the coffin due to chibi proportions. x'D And Thomas is, at present, my comfort character. :') The carpeting is taken directly from my own in-game screenshot.)

:: 46-034 [RO] Morning Reading ::

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my Archbishop, Thomas Benedicta and his beloved pet ghost, Whispersio.

Thomas spends his morning reading while enjoying some Holy Water that he bottled himself from the nearby lake. He also gives Whispersio some pet food. Whispersio eats Damp Darkness; it looks like black smoke. After this, Thomas will put his stole on and he will go to do some training against desert wolves.

That's... pretty much his life now.
