The Beatles - Christmas Time is Here Again (full length version with 3 Christmas messages!)
Another Christmas video - this time for the full-length version of Beatles song 'Christmas Time (is Here Again)'!
Incase you aren't familiar with the song, it was written by all 4 Beatles (making it one of the few 'Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, Starkey' songs ever written) and recorded in late 1967. Fragments of the song were heard on the flexi-disc 'Christmas Time is Here Again!' and an edited version was released as the b-side of 'Free as a Bird'. However, the full-length version presented here has never been officially released, which is a shame because it is an amazing song.
The song begins at 0:39 and ends at 7:19
I have also included 3 Christmas messages for Beatles fans:
1. A poem read by John Lennon at the end of the fan club flexi-disc 'Christmas Time is Here Again'. You'll hear this at the begining of the video.
2. A Christmas message recorded by the Beatles in 1963 for the Saturday Club.
3. A Christmas message recorded by 'Nelson Wilbury' (aka George Harrison. This message includes a sample of the Traveling Wilburys song 'Handle With Care').

Das wird wohl niemand leugnen. Alle Sachen sind frei erhältlich und ich bin auch ein großer Verfechter davon, dass das so ist. Aber es muss auch weiter unabhängige, unangepasste, nicht marktgerechte Musik und Kunst geben. Wir und andere versuchen, einen Weg zu finden, wie wir es immer tun. Ich denke, alles frei zugänglich zu machen, ist ein richtiger Weg. Und wenn einen was interessiert, man was als wichtig empfindet oder einfach will, dass es nie endet, sollte man es ein klein wenig unterstützen. Es geht da nicht nur um Geld sondern auch um Respekt und Anerkennung.

Eric Clapton - White Christmas (Performance Video)
"Happy Xmas" is Clapton’s 24th studio album and his first since 2016’s “I Still Do.” It mixes instantly recognizable holiday classics with lesser-known unique titles along with an original new song “For Love On Christmas Day.” The album also features cover art illustration by Clapton himself.
"I had in my head that these holiday songs could be done with a slight blues tinge, and I started to figure out how to play the blues lines in between the vocals,” said Clapton, who co-produced "Happy Xmas" with longtime music producer Simon Climie. “I got it down and one of the most identifiable songs on the album, the one that became the foundational style, is ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’.

Ever hear of Claire Chase?
She is rather amazing. Saw her tonight combining mystical flute meditations with breath and percussion gymnastics right up there with Ian Anderson in his prime.
NY Times called her "the most important flutist of our time".
Tonight she played a sunset concert, solo, at one point handing out triangles to audience members, and playing so sublimely that in a quiet ending, a bird joined in, perfect pitch and time. I recorded that... don't have bandwidth to post it now, but will. Meanwhile...

Tonight she played the "metal tube" (flute), solo, but a few songs she performed along with multi-track accompaniment of herself on some of these other flute relatives. Muy cool. 🎶
Funny I find Bobo and daughter Camille sing this. This morning I was listening to the original and thought "nah, you can't post that" and so I switched to Bobo. The song is by east German band Klaus Renft Combo, or just "Renft" which the socialist regime officially banned from making anymore music in 1975.
