Since I ran across "segue" again… a word that I mispronounced until this very year (or maybe, if I'm lucky, sometime late last year, but I think it was this year)…
Is there any other word in English where a "ue" ending is pronounced as "way"?
Vogue, league, tongue, dialogue, prologue… none of them are ending in "way". Right? ;-)
