Rome wasn't sacked for the first time until 410 AD. Aside from time gradually accelerating, The States here have only been around for 247 years, and I think maybe we should throw a big "Ongoing End of The United States" party, We'd have to invite all the other countries, some of which would like to sack us so we can have another dark ages, but hey, maybe some of our buddies could jump in for us... not sure we have any of those anymore though.

In the next several years, Israel will go all out against the Palestinians, bringing the remaining Muslim nations in against them, which will bring The States in on it. If Putin's Putin, he'll back up his customers... unless he misses his move. If they haven't started yet, everybody capable will go nuclear, but in a limited way. Big city here, big city there kind of thing. Any tyrants remaining standing will go conventional after the areas that don't glow at night.
That's somewhat avoidable if The States collapse inward at next year's election. shrug

If all frequencies are harmonized, it's not an "echo chamber" so much as its that you're all tuned in together and you're hearing the other instruments in the music.
...but if your song doesn't groove with what everyone else is playing, you can be an instrument elsewhere, there can be war, or just maybe we could talk it out?
