Turkey-Syria earthquake death toll passes 21,000
As rescue workers from around the world fighting against ticking clock to find survivors under millions of tons of rubble, the death toll keep increasing.
With only a fraction of the buildings gone though and some 100 000 people still missing, the number is feared to be increasing higher in the coming hours and days.
With Syria only receiving help from countries like Iran, Armenia and some Arab states, the situation in many parts of Syria is truly desperate. EU and US have denied sending help to the regime controlled areas and UN is fighting with the US military to receive permission to send supply and help to those desperately in need of help.
Once again, western countries showing the world that human lives are not worth much and politics is more important for them. The fact that the victims are not white, christian or europeans plays a key role in the inhumanity of the world leaders when it comes to their criminal indifference toward the catastrophic situation in Syria.
