#polio and #measles #vaccines are exceptionally popular because they actively prevent, they're a one-time thing (not "subscription", e.g. "boosters" every x months), they're affordable and they help stop the spread (actual eradication, not "lower hospitalisation" rates). They rarely lay you in bed for 1-5 days after each shot.
Better #covid19 #vaccines need to be developed and properly tested, but when it's developed in the frameworks of #capitalism with #patent #monopolies there's more incentive to keep pushing existing stuff and hardly improving it (until it stops selling; or price/unit falls)

Make better #vaccines (higher efficacy) and no mandates will be needed. People will choose to take them. At the moment the vaccines are, at best, lowing chances of death in old and vulnerable people.
