Impossible to bridge Diaspora* to BlueSky?

Via Bridgy Fed I tried to link my diasp.nl account to BlueSky thinking that Diaspora* is part of the Fediverse, but it did not work.

Is that because Diaspora* does not support the ActivityPub protocol?
