I am a bit stronger but still not in full condition... still a bit wobly on me feet.

When we stayed in Altaussee in September we made a trip to the Ödensee nearby and hiked around it.
The Ödensee, with a surface area of 20 hectares, is one of the smaller lakes in the Salzkammergut. It is however, a popular spot for swimming in summer.
The Ödensee is a natural lake in the Salzkammergut. It’s located at 776 meters in the municipality of Pichl-Kainisch, Styria, and has a maximum depth of about 19 meters. It is a so-called forest moorland lake.
Tomorrow Andrea et moi are going to be in our beloved house in Altaussee again for 10 days, together with Katharina and Peter (who turns 80 in a few days)...
it is the little house, the big one has ben rebuilt by an Englishman who inherited a private bank from his aunt in London...
I will be back around October 4... wishing all of you some really good times.
Hey! We are back from Altaussee...
The photo shows our backs up at the Loser plateau at 1800m/5900ft, where we took a 2h round hike... but, good to be back home, as now the "good" and warm weather begins.
I wish you some wonderful 14 days, as from tomorrow until July 15 Andrea et moi will stay in Altaussee together with my 2nd ex-wife and her life companion... 14 days totally without internet will provide a more natural feeling of life.

From Friday July 1 till 14 Andrea et moi will stay in the same "Knusperhäuschen" we've been the years before. Katharina and Peter from Steinmühle will join us and, we are looking forward to this extremely quiet place high above Altaussee... the view above is direction east, you see the Trisselwand.
Andrea et moi returned home jester's day 5p after 7 days in the wonderful Knupserhäuschen in Altaussee, together with Peter we enjoyed every moment,
Six mornings I took a photo of the view down over the lake between 7-8am... very different moods, clouds, light...
Saturday last week we visited Sister Maria Ancilla, nun of the Kreuzschwestern, an aunt of Andrea who lives in Gosau; from there you have a great view of the Gosaukamm...

this was our Knusperhäuschen, our little treasure house in Altaussee... the big one in the back belongs to Mr. Covington, an Englishman who inherited a London private bank from his aunt, had the house rebuilt after the original but, he and his family are rarely there, as the janitor told us... hm.
ugh, btw, the mountain in the background is the Loser; you can drive up to a parking lot at 1600m.a.s.l./5250ft...
