Un homme de 27 ans est mort à #Marseille dans la nuit de samedi à dimanche. Il aurait été touché au thorax par un projectile de "type flash-ball" selon les premiers éléments de l'enquête (tir de LBD ou munition "beanbag" utilisée par le #RAID).

Selon le parquet, les premiers éléments de l’enquête « permettent de retenir comme probable un décès causé par un choc violent au niveau du thorax causé par le tir d’un projectile de « type flash-ball » . À ce stade, le lieu de l’impact n’est pas déterminé. « Des événements de type émeutes et pillages se déroulaient cette nuit-là dans le secteur, sans qu’il soit possible de déterminer si la victime y avait participé ou même si elle avait pu circuler dans une telle zone», précise le parquet .

### Blue, White, Red, France for the French! The militant extreme right took to the streets of Lyon to demonstrate last night!

This is a move seen in other cities where these fascist hooligans walk in neighborhoods to "protect" the "French", I have not seen any documented abuse of citizens by them but read that they harassed and verbally and physical attacked people of color as well as any Muslim or north African they met during their "protective" march.

These are scary scenes that bring back the fear of the rise of #fascism in #Europe, 100 years ago.

Let's hope that the story doesn't repeat itself!

We need to fight them in every corner and prevent them from acting like they stand for law and order!

### UNCONFIRMED : The French government has questioned its telecom operators ( #Orange, àBouygues, #SFR, #Free), asking them if it was "technically possible" for them to cut off mobile data, 4G and 5G, in certain neighborhoods in France.

Suggested by Interior Minister Gérald @Darmanin, it would be to prevent rioters in the streets from communicating together, except at home trough àWifi.

In return, telecom operators immediately informed the government that cutting off such access was "technically unfeasible tonight", but "feasible later".

However, they also made it clear that :
Without a declared state of emergency, this is illegal.
Call for help and emergencies would be hindered, or made impossible.
Police and gendarmerie's high-speed broadband platform, "PC Storm", would not work.

For the time being, the #Elysée has decided not to enforce this measure. If the situation becomes tense, the Interior Minister's wishes may well come true.

The French government has not confirmed this information.

This is an escalation of the conflict and one step before martial law. Several communes have enforced curfew between 10PM and 5AM and French judiciary has said during a press conference that families of minors letting their kids participate in riots will be prosecuted and fined 1000s of Euros.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon, one of the most high-profile figures on the French left, accused police unions — who said in a press release earlier today they "were at war" with the rioters — of "throwing oil on the fire" and encouraging "murderous behaviour."

At least there are voices out there standing up to the ridiculous police can't do no wrong public opinion and the fascists and extreme right calling it for a race war.

De våldsamma protesterna i Frankrike har pågått sedan en 17-årig pojke sköts till döds av polis i tisdags.

45 000 poliser har sats in för att stoppa de senaste dygnens omfattande upplopp, som pågått på flera platser i landet. Insatserna har lett till att nästan 1000 personer greps under natten till lördag, enligt en första beräkning från franska inrikesdepartementet.

Deras sammanställning visar också att över 2 500 bränder har tänts runtom i landet.
