I recently bought a second hand Steinberger #Bass.
When i mounted a new set of strings i noted that the bridge was rattling while there was no tension from the strings. It turned out that the 5 screws which hold the bridge on the body were a little bit loose.
How can that be? A small mistake in the production, or do they loosen themselves over the years because of vibration?
