View on the world, near 10pm. A thin line of dusk just above the roofs. A few thin lines of warm light, yellow and orange, in the windows across the street. Almost invisible the silhouettes of the backyard trees; sound of footsteps, human and canine, on small rocks. Somewhere out there, a loud bunch of people is cheering whichever event they spend their evening on. Late bus, few passengers, a cigarette lit near the stop, a phone call ended, a sigh floating into the darkness covering concrete that's still warm with the remainders of todays summer. (Have a restful night wherever you are.)

Deux films du festival Télérama vus ces derniers jours :
« The quiet girl » de Colm Bairéad et « Les feuilles mortes » de Aki Kaurismäki. Durs et Oppressants. Ambiance gris/ noir, du lourd, du très très lourd. Pour les feuilles mortes je suis sortie en pensant tout simplement au suicide. L’atmosphère des deux films est angoissante pour l’un, déprimante pour l’autre. Le climat post-soviétique de la Finlande est sans doute très bien rendu, mais relève à mes yeux de l’asile psychiatrique. Vie-travail-amitié englués, piégés dans une simple survie. J’ai cru au début être dans les années 50/60, mais les infos sur la guerre en Ukraine étaient bien contemporaines. L’Irlande n’est qu’un décor, à peine entrevu mais qui plombe largement l’atmosphère. On a froid pour cette petite fille délaissée et pourtant c’est l’été.. Dur, très dur. Aucun espoir à attendre, même le peu d’amour en filigrane est bancal. Si vous êtes sous Prozac à éviter… Mireille MOUTTE
