Tripped out bluesy-krautrock band from Switzerland. Relatively unknown due to his short career, this quartet recorded one album called "Forget your dream" (1971) for stoned-propulsive-sulfurous compositions, including heavy-psych guitars, crazy Hammond organs. This obscurity has been recently published with bonus tracks on "Long Hair".

A Limb is a kind of artistic Frankenstein, exhuming all sorts of music corpses from their graves, stitching an ambient body with funk legs, punk feet, experimental arms, jazz hands, a drone head, inserting a big ethnic music heart and krautrock lungs... then bathing the whole "body" into a dub effects bath, until an electro thunderbolt strikes it and... omg... it's... alive! Hmm.. sometimes science goes too far, but it's too late to back-pedal...

Since end of January Cat's Circus is history. I lost my musical home and a some others too. I created my own place for Music Events on my Parcel Clara's ArtGarden. The name is " Studio M ".
I will play there on different days and different times. Lets see how that works.
I know it's difficult to start something new. But I hope many of you will visit.

Der in weiten Teilen chronologisch montierte, angenehm unprätentiös erzählte Film räumt Schmidt und seiner Ehefrau Hildegard viel Raum ein, setzt aber auch musikalisch markante Akzente und zeichnet überdies den kreativen Erschöpfungsprozess nach, der Ende der 1970er-Jahre zur Auflösung der Gruppe führte. via Filmdienst

  • Groupshow sessions – rehearsal, concert or recording – are always improvised. The interplay of the various sound sources, converging from the directions of “electronics”, “percussion” and “guitar”, does not follow the Krautrock wave logic of crescendo and morendo. Jelinek, Leichtmann and Pekler have established a method of transparent density in which links and breaks are not concealed but remain audible. The music works through attraction and repulsion, with a loosely organized structure that always leaves enough room for the next intervention.
