The draughts conditions in Iran reaching a catastrophic levels.

This image was released by #NASA taken at the location where it used to be #lake #Urmieh, between eastern and western Azerbaijan provinces in north western Iran.

The lake used to be the home of Asian #flamingos and many other birds who are now all gone. The lake was also home to 100a of unique species of fish and other marine lives not found anywhere else in the world.

The water level of #CaspianSea, the largest lake in the world is now 9m bellow it's lowest level recorded in history and causing trouble for fishermen and people who's life depends on the well being of that sea, not only in #Iran, but also in #Azerbaijan Republic, #Turkmenistan and even Russia.

In yet another escalation of tention between Azerbaijan and ziran, Baku summoned Iranian outgoing Ambassador and declared 4 of the embassy staff as persona non grata!

They were accused of spreading "propaganda" and working with domestic terrorist again #Azerbaikan's national security. They have to leave the country in 48h.

This comes at the same time while Azeri government is performing a rather large naval exercise in Persian Gulf and moving 1000s of soldiers and heavy military equipment, including tanks and drone launching trucks as well as mobile radar system to the border of #NaghornoGharabagh as their plans to started major offensive is moving forward.

احضار سفیر و اخراج ۴ دیپلمات ایران در آذربایجان

🔻رسانه‌های جمهوری آذربایجان به نقل از وزارت امور خارجه این کشور مدعی شدند که جمهوری آذربایجان با احضار سفیر کشورمان، ۴ دیپلمات سفارت کشورمان را به عنوان عنصر نامطلوب معرفی کرده و خواستار آن شد که ظرف ۴۸ ساعت خاک آذربایجان را ترک کنند.
