In the #Druze village of Hader on the Syrian side of the #Golan heights, men gathered to discuss their fate. They fear reprisal from revolutionary forces, having stayed loyal to Assad's regime. (It is actually traditional in Druze culture to be loyal to their state, as they never had a state of their own.)
If we have to choose, we will choose the lesser evil – to be annexed to the (Israeli) Golan!
Which is the frying pan and which the fire? The Druze population in #Israel are generally liked by the Jewish majority. Although they do suffer discrimination as an Arab ethnic minority.

Real name of Mohammad Al-Jolani is "Ahmad Hossein Ali Al-Shar'a" and he was born in #Golan, Syria and grew up in #Damascus. He studied for a year at the Media Faculty and then went to Iraq to join the ISIS group. He was arrested for three months after entering Iraq by Americans.
After 3 months of disappearance by Americans, he was released after the beginning of the Syrian war. He suddenly became commander of ISIS after his release and was sent from #Iraq to Syria as leader of #ISIS #syria branch.
