Einer der rarsten #Vögel der Welt, der #Waldrapp, dockt höchst gern beim Menschen an. Er ist ein etwa gänsegroßer #Ibis, „sein kahles Gesicht, der sichelförmige, rote #Schnabel und die strubbeligen #Nackenfedern bieten einen ungewöhnlichen Anblick“, heißt es auf der Webseite des WWF⁽¹⁾. Wegen seines wohlschmeckenden Fleisches hatte man den Waldrapp allerdings schon fast ausgerottet.
