BRAKING: #Iran's #SupremeCourt orders retrial for MahamSadrat, sentenced to death over 'enmity against God' during recent riots.
"His request for a retrial was found to be in accordance with the law […] & so the case was referred to the court for retrial," judiciary's news website reported.
Mr Sadrat had been found guilty of "moharebeh" an offence that can carry the death penalty.
His conviction was based on allegations he had drawn a knife, causing fear & insecurity/ #ISNA
