A Little Marc Chagall
Well, not so little, really. This mural is several stories high, displayed behind glass at the Metropolitan Opera house in Lincoln Center, NYC. This one is "The Sources of Music".
Usually it is behind a curtain during daylight, so as not to fade from sunlight, and it is spotlit at night. But today it was on display for some sort of re-opening event although there was bunting and a projection screen adjacent, preventing a full view. Here's a few hundred square feet of it, enough to see some of the elaborate detail, plus a reflection of Broadway. There is much more to see.
