And eventually RH PR where able to get the hands on also over #LateNightLinux which has been historically and geographically an #Ubuntu bastion... I am concerned about this trend, #LNL is one of my favorite podcast it would be a shame stopping to listen it because the continuous RH PR, this is the reason why I stopped to listen #destinationLinux

I understood it is also a manifestation that Ubuntu is everyday lesser relevant on the #LinuxDesktop, now there is the rising up of the worst: #Manjaro ; #Fedora #SilverBlue ; #Flatpak etc...

Not that I really care about all this crap I already left the Linux space but this RH/Linux mono-culture is boring, #GNU/Linux was cool also because diversity, heterogeneity, variety and so on...

Slackermedia

Take control of your art. Design your own digital studio.

Slackermedia is not a "laundry list" of multimedia apps that are half-finished, nor a blueprint for mindlessly installing apps you'll never use, nor a series of mindless install scripts. It is a series of tutorials on understanding the UNIX way as it applies to the artistic process, designing a personalised workflow, and configuring a system so that it works for you and not against you.

This is quite unexpected, this is the first I heard about this distro for art/multimedia production. Looks quite geek/nerdy/extreme, everything in salsa #slackware!

Definitely I'll take a look into this project!

Any P2P Instant Message Still Available?

It happens that for not clarified reason my phone is broken, for now it works randomly and I haven't bought a replacement yet, waiting for some 4th July offers; anyway since I had to reset everything, hence,It doesn't have anything installed yet, and besides text message I really think I need an alternative solution to Whatsapp that I can use in emergency situation like this one, and perhaps as stable replacement for the aforementioned platform.

So my question is: are still out there any active, secure, privacy focus, free and opensource P2P instant messaging software for both Desktop and Mobile?

Thanks!
