An accidental find as I was trying to ID one of the other rides (this) at The Prater. Vienna's famed amusement park. I'd photographed and rode the giant Ferris wheel, Wiener Riesenrad, which got me some nice views at sunset, but I also saw some extreme-looking rides, especially roller coasters and some other daredevil rides. I had no idea just how extreme this park's collection of thrill rides is.

Golden Hour at Prater, Vienna's magnificent amusement park, and no rain! (very iffy)
Waiting on line / queuing for this as I looked up. Appreciating the craftsmanship more and more.
Hoping to be somewhere on this wheel somewhere 'round sunset.

Meanwhile, Prater begins to light up in neon as dusk approaches. I posted one from phone, will have some more soon from 'film'.

One more from my F&F tour (Freud & Ferris)...

This is probably my favorite so far, from Prater, home of the world's oldest Ferris Wheel. The wheel in the photo here is a modern wheel. I took this shot from the original Wiener Riesenrad wheel (symbol of Vienna).

FWIW: I haven't yet properly looked through all the images in my cameras, which I will get to soon. (Posts to follow)
